LOVING HANDS CDC offers youth development services through the LC21stCCLC grant from the GADOE.
This program provides ACADEMIC SUPPORT TO STUDENTS IN MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL who are a part of the Lamar County Schools. It operates Monday-Friday from 3-6:00 p.m. and during intercessions as well as the summer from 7:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Students are transported to Bethel Baptist Church by Lamar County School buses and after the program, they are transported home. They receive a snack as well as assistance with homework, tutoring, educational field trips, community service activities, enrichment/project based learning activities.
All services are free to qualifying families.
