Loving Hands Community Development Corporation provides opportunities for students and families to succeed in college, leadership, and life.
Providing a safe space for students and families to develop college-readiness, leadership skills, emotional and physical health, and passions.
Upholding core values in every activity we do.
During non-school hours, Loving Hands Community Development Corporation will provide activities that support student learning through enrichment and academic activities.
The academic part of the program is designed to help students meet state and local standards in core academic subjects such as reading and math. Academic attainment and an enhanced well-being through positive youth development services are key factors in ensuring youth successfully transition into young adulthood, particularly youth of economically disadvantaged communities.
Through our youth development program, parents and caregivers can ensure their child/children have a safe and enriching environment when the traditional school day ends.
This program provides a quality out-of-school youth development program and services to youth between the ages 5 – 18 who attend Lamar County Schools.
Youth served in this program must be within low-to-moderate income families, the foster care system or congregate care settings within the state of Georgia. The youth will be involved in programs and services related to Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and/or Math (STEAM) programming/curriculum; field trips; health and well-being activities; additional enrichment programs and services.
